This is a fair school in Ekalaka, MT. It is the only public high school in Carter County with students coming from up to 60 miles away. The academics are great for a small town and has a friendly environment. It is not a very diverse school, due to the fact that there are around 40 students in the whole school. The sports and other activities are fair because our school has a low budget and school and activity bus routes are not always safe due to the fact that they are usually broke down. It is a great school with great administration and academics.

My experience at Carter County High School has been very good. All the teachers will stand behind their students every step of the way and do everything in their power to ensure that every student who graduates from this school is ready for college and beyond. All staff are very friendly and the lunchroom staff are accommodating to students with special dietary needs.
I would like for our school to offer more arts classes. Also teachers and superintendent should recognize the students who remain on honor roll and do good things all the time more often instead of just recignizing the trouble makers and slackers when they do something good that the rest of the students do daily. Also bulldog lunch is not effective at all bc the students who r in it don't care and they get to be around their fellow misbehaviors.
