Carson City-Crystal Upper Elementary/Middle School Reviews
Rating 1 out of 5 1 review
I was not taught how to study, manage my time wisely, or communicate with teachers here. All of these are very important to success in college. Even though children going to this school still have at least four years before they attend college, they should be taught these skills to ensure success in high school as well as college. If they are taught these skills early on, the skills will become automatic when they are needed most. Instead of worrying so much about how aesthetically pleasing the school is, the school board needs to focus on the students. Time needs to be devoted to implementing study programs to help students that are struggling or want to get ahead. New teachers should be hired to bring fresh perspectives to the classroom. The new teachers should also be fully qualified. This means not hiring the person who will take the cheapest salary so that more money can be devoted to frivolous objects like a sun canopy that was removed within a year because it was never used.
