While I enjoyed my time at Carmichael, I remember I felt like I was learning to become an adult but I was not treated so. I received a good education, and I was challenged just the right amount. However, I always felt like I was doing something wrong, or going to get in trouble even though I was a very well-behaved student

Although the teachers mostly taught in a monotonous structure way each hour while I attended this middle school, they still were very open and friendly and would always answer questions when asked. They truly did care about the students and if that student got bad grade they would ask that student why and help them try to fix it. They were fairly consistent in grading and often returned classwork back on time. Overall the teachers were very nice and truly had their best interests for students at heart.
It was decidedly bland, because I was shy I wasn't extremely eager to join social activities and sports. This however wasn't exactly the worst experience as it helped me get out of my shell and make nice friends, as well as jump start me into my current STEM high school. My favorite experience at the school would be checking out books at the library, because the librarian was nice and would let me read early access books. What really made the school unique at the time was a big hill that had a big C, which was later removed in my 8th grade year. It overall was a nice experience mostly filled with fond memories.
