Carmel Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 4.13 out of 5 434 reviews
Carmel is a private high school that provides a great education to its students with top notch faculty and teachers. However, college counseling needs to be improved. Students hear little about the application process, necessary prerequisites, and opportunities to improve a resume outside of Carmel. Overall, this school is a great community of people, but needs to focus more on making students aware of the college application process and opportunities to strengthen an application, as they label themselves as a college prep school.
The strength of faith can really be drastically improved as well as the agenda that seems to be pushed…keep political ideas out of school. Most kids there are mean and unwelcoming after a week or so. Education is okay but for some reason some teachers like to push their ideas onto the kids too. Lots of students there have no sense of respect for other students around them, and it’s disgusting. If you plan on sending your kids here, make SURE they’re strong in their values and morals FIRST, because they WILL be challenged heavily.
We love the family atmosphere of Carmel Catholic and the enthusiasm that the teachers, administration and staff bring to the school every day. The students are challenged academically, athletically and socially. We love CCHS!
