Carlmont is a great school! However, I struggled a lot with me health during my time there an the administration and some of the teachers were not very helpful. Would only get the help I needed if I went high up to the district to complain. The curriculum is great and definitely prepares you for college with how challenging it is. However, if you have any disability/health issue, I do not think they are equipped with enough resources to handle certain cases.

Carlmont is a highly ranked school with great academics and some good sports teams. The environment is very competitive, but still supportive. I've never been in such a welcoming community! All that aside, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the teachers and educators are sub par. Most are amazing, but they have definitely hired a few wack-jobs that make students' lives miserable. Otherwise a great school! Just hope that you get the good teachers.
I really enjoyed Carlmont High School! Carlmont has an outstanding journalism and ASB program as well as great performing arts and athletics programs. My only complaint would be that the school should focus more on equity and inclusion for students of color, particularly for Latino, Tongan, and Black students,.
