My experience at capitol hill high school was really fun! My scholars encourages other student at capitol hill high school to be more out there! I was in a club called B.P.A(Business Professional of America) and we plan events for our school and its so much fun!
Something I would change about my school is ways for my teachers to get paid more because they go through so much for us to get educated and have supplies we need and I would like to start a donation for my teacher that has helped us through so much.

When I was in eighth grade I remember thinking that I did not want to go to Capitol Hill. I heard many rumors about how bad the school was and practically begged my mom to let me go to southeast, obviously her answer was no. So the first day of highschool came and there I was at Capitol Hill High School.
After a while of being in classes, doing sports and clubs I realized this school wasn't anything I thought it was. A lot of the teachers and coaches would go out of their way just to help their student or athlete, I know because I am one of the students they've helped. The teachers were amazing, the coaches were amazing and even a lot of the students were just amazing. The school was a second home to me and I am so grateful to my mom for forcing me to come to Capitol Hill. Although all of the stereotypes and rumors may give my school a bad reputation I will always be proud to say that I was and am a Redwolf from Capitol Hill High School.
CHHS is what you make it because they may have a bad reputation. but they also have great programs and academies you can get In to help you advance. 9/10 teachers are there to watch and help you succeed. Only if okcps would put more money into our schools so many things could be improved. This is a great school if that’s what you make your experience. This school has grown me to the good person I am today.
