My experience at Capital Prep was really good. There are kids that come from different places and everyone feels welcomed. My school is a social justice school, we have Social Justice Conferences every year, seniors do a project in order to graduate which is called the Social Justice Project (SJP). You have to pick a social justice topic that you are interested in and raising awareness about your topic to the school and out in the community. Capital prep is the school I believe everyone should attend to because you'll have a good chance to get into the college you want to go to. We take the right amount of classes and some are classes that are in college already! Some students are able to take college classes at Capital Community College!

Capital Prep is one of a kind! Its is a PK 3 through 12th grade school. Capital Prep students, parents and staff are very close and have a strong bond we are one big extended family. However, Capital Prep is a Social Justice Theme School which empowers its students to lead with integrity, confidence, courage and conviction. Capital Prep also has a very competitive atheletic dept. As for academics Capital Prep is committed to providing the best college preparatory program available. As a junior Cprep I believe the academics requirements has helped me develop, as a well-rounded student grounded in the best of the academics and a social justice agent for change. My experience at Cprep has help me to think critically and cultivate life-long learning skills. Cprep staff and administration are committed to producing graduates who will thrive in college and beyond and act with integrity and self-discipline as good citizens of their country and the world.
When attending Capital Preparatory Magnet School, they have prepared me to be the best that I could be in college. They absolutely had the proper college readiness programs and options in place that was going to help me succeed and go further in life. While at Capital Prep, I was able to begin college classes earlier than normal, which allowed me to transfer these credits to my current college and be ahead in credits. Due to this, I now have the option to graduate early within three years of being in college. I thank Capital for preparing me to this level, and I now feel like I can accomplish anything that is thrown at me. Very good school to attend.
