This school is a beacon of hope for the public education system. Most of my teachers go over the top to ensure each student has the best learning environment possible, and the principal continually reaches out to the student body to run the school based on the students’ needs. Needless to say I am proud to be a cougar!
However, I have mainly taken AP courses at this school and I have heard less than happy comments about many of the non AP course teachers from my peers.

Capistrano Valley High School has good programs that help students prepare for college. The faculty there are invested in the students success and try their best to accommodate to student needs. Every month they hold meetings with students to see what positive change they can bring to the school. The events there are very unique and fun. One event that I absolutely love is Quadchella. It is similar to Coachella, but it’s at our school and much smaller. Anyone can come this event and there are bands that preform live and food trucks. We have one of the top students section in Orange County and take school spirit very seriously (in a healthy way). In my opinion, the lunch they provide is mediocre and could be better tasting.
My experience in Capistrano Valley High School has been a life changer. This school taught me how to not only meet new people, but to also accept everyone for who they are. Diversity in races and cultures is spread throughout the school with each one respecting one another. Thanks to the history of the school, tradition has been passed down each class and continues to exist within the soul of Capo. Administration is always wishing for everyone's success and continue suggest programs and ideas that will aid our future. Overall it has been a great experience and I will completely miss the students, staff, and school as a whole.
