I had a good high school experience at Canyon Springs! I wish the school was a bit more involved during my senior year, as that is the year most students are most excited for! I would recommend more senior activities but other than that I had a great four years and did not feel the need to transfer out or leave because I was genuinely happy there. I would recommend any family or friend member to check out the school for their children because they will have a fun four years!

Canyon springs was no regular school, there was often tons of diversity. Canyon has much improved since my freshman year. The school went from gang violence freshman year, to freshman getting influenced by gangs and many youtube videos. The problem is no longer seniors, but the power of campus supervisors dressed like the sheriff and the freshmen thinking they are gangsters and truly not knowing what that life really is like.
I came to Canyon Springs High School during my second semester of my sophomore year. It was a different school district, city, and, of course, school, but I found that it was a welcoming, diverse group of educated students. I felt right at home when I moved to Canyon and the pep rallys were one of the school events that caught my eye. The school spirit is inspirational and distinct from the rest. For example, during the rallies, everyone gets a chance to be a part of the audience for the folklorico dances, sports teams announcement, and fun games the Student Body has prepared for us. I would like to comment on how there should be a dance team and how the dance team could possibly bring more variety of clubs and social activites into the school.
