I liked that the teachers made personal connections with their students and wanted to see us succeed. They made that obvious through talking before and after class, or even after we moved on from their class. If I ever had a problem, my teachers were more than willing to help. I think the only thing I wish would be improved is the college preparation aspect. There were classes, like an internship class where you worked on making resumes and volunteering, but they weren't as advertised as they should have been to all students. I think that should be a requirement and amped up so students get the most out of it.
Personalty, I love CDO, one point I love about it is the amount of different classes you can take, from computer science to american sign language. The teachers are very friendly and helpful to students that work at a slower pace. one thing I would like to see change however is the food they give for lunch. Right now, the problem is really greasy pizza (that sometimes has a strong chemical taste) and soggy and sometimes not fully cooked fries. other than the food, I would recommend CDO to anyone who is looking for a memorable high school experience.
