Cane Bay has a wonderful arts program that encourages its students to express themselves through different programs. The school offers classes in all sorts of programs like welding, several different medical fields, the arts, teaching, and more. It is a wonderful school and has made my high school experience great!

I have never been to a school as dedicated to us, the students, as Cane Bay High School is. They are a school that always makes sure to put us and our futures before themselves. The school teaches not only academics needed for our advancement in the world, but also life lessons. They teach us to be understanding, patient, compromising, respectable, polite, and above all; they teach us that anything is possible. That when we fall, we don't just lay there and except our fate. We get back up again and try. Andyou don't stop trying until you achieve your dreams!
Cane Bay High school (CBHS) suffers from a focus on sports and money making clubs rather than academia. The saving grace for this school are the teachers. The social studies department in particular is very apt and has taught me how to handle AP and college level curriculum. The worst aspects of CBHS are in the front offices of Guidance and the front office. It is a rarity for guidance counselors to email back students who have questions and much of the office is often gone to lunch or unavailable when needed. The Front office also suffers greatly; it can take up to thirty minutes for information from the front office to be distributed to students such as sign out information or calls for sports. CBHS offers good teachers and emphasized extracurricular activities but lacks in multiple areas. Focuses are not to helping the average student achieve college but to have the greatest sports teams and money makers. Sadly, this affliction withholds any better ratings.
