Campo is a school that, on paper, looks to be going to the future. And this futuristic outlook seems to reflect well on students, as it ranks above average in most things, with a top notch band program to soccer and volleyball teams that consistently perform at the state level. This success, however, gives way to the largest flaw in the school's performance- culture. With a culture already very much self-based with the rise of Twitter and Snapchat, allowing that to be reinforced with vast amounts of success gives way for a student atmosphere of complacency, and a neglect for most students to take advantage of the many opportunities laid out for them. While this scenario could be a lot worse, if the school wishes to continue to be growing and moving forward, this culture of complacency is going to be the dragon they will have to slay to get there.

My experience at Campo Verde has been pretty amazing. From the super-involved teachers to the fantastic academic classes, it truly is a great school. I had so many teachers that made learning interesting and created a safe environment to share ideas in. There were obviously some flaws, some of which were the disconnect between those in Administration and students, and my counselor wasn’t a great resource for transcript requirements and personal problems; however, overall, Campo Verde was a top tier school that I’m lucky to call home.
Campo Verde is a great high school. I was very lucky to have attended Campo Verde for two years. They do a great job getting students involved and making their learning experiences fun and engaging. It is a wonderful school with wonderful staff. The best part about being at Campo Verde is that they offer the TOYBOX program where students are able to work with the preschool kids on campus, I was apart of the program and absolutely loved working with those kids. They have so many different learning programs that students can be involved in and it helps the students have hands on activities an experience different opportunity to see if this is something they enjoy. I hope anyone who is choosing between High schools, goes to Campo Verde.
