Camino is a good school but I would no recommend this for extraordinary children this school is to average and I want to become a neuro surgeon I also want to become an aerospace engineer. I am in the 7th grade and have already mastered physics. I exel in music and love to make art,I also love to play sports specifically gymnastics and track. Im not trying to brag or anything but I have a friend named Isaac he seems ordinary at first but when you get to know him he is anything but ordinary. I want a future I also want freedom for the whole world but None of those can happen. I am a atudent at mesa middle school it sucks I want a school that offers not a future but the needs for the student to create their own future. Camino is great school but not an extraordinary one But for now i will just keep my head high through hell.
Camino Real Middle School - is a wonderful school. The administration, faculty, and staff made my three years; as a student fun and safe. The school is well rounded in their curriculum; that prepares and encourages students - to embrace any endeavor - with critical thinking skills and overall creativity sided with originality.
I would like to see Camino Real truly prepare students for college. The lunches are not healthy, just like other schools in the district it is prepackaged and very small. Students involved in sports can not be filled with these lunches.
Most of the teachers are amazing, but some need to learn respect and up their game in teaching.
Most everyone is VERY accepting, and we have people from all walks of life.
The computer lab is often half-broken and the internet is definitely wonky. The school itself is in pretty good conditions, and they're in the process of renovating some things. We don't really have access to regular guidance counselors, but most Platica (homeroom) teachers are very willing to help.
There could be more after school clubs; being an art school there's a lot to do in school, but not much to do out of school.
Lunches are made by students and are generally really good. There's a pretty big variety between what's served everyday, and there are always vegetarian options, which is nice.
There aren't very many issues with bullying, and if there are, they are dealt with swiftly. I feel very safe in my school, we never have any real problems. However, we have no school nurse or any fancy safety precautions like metal detectors.
