Camino Nuevo has been a positive experience so far. I have been attending the school since freshman year. It has been a positive experience primarily because of the community. Since the school is small, everyone is in an environment where people are familiar with each other. The teachers make the school a positive environment to be part of because students develop a relationship with teachers to better understand teachers and students. I problem with the school is the lack of diversity, it is evident that the school attracts Hispanic people more than other people. Although this concern is difficult to control, more diversity would increase the experience in school.

In my four years of high school, I really like the resources that they provide. Something that I didn't enjoy much was the fact that the staff can't control the students. Some students are not happy and end up transferring to a different school because this high school doesn't have the funds for field trips and also doesn't have any sports other than soccer. Sometimes students would get out of class and teachers aren't able to control them. Something I did like about the high school was that you are able to easily connect with the teachers and they enjoy students asking for help.
