There’s so many opportunities to benefit you in your future in education, college, and your career. There are also many clubs and sports that you learn to love and find great friends and coaches!
This place was the standard high school experience. I have no other high school to compare it to. This school took pride in it's athletics and band. They were very committed to it's drug testing every year-- I was called every year! The only gripe I ever had was when one of the staff came up to me to accuse me of stealing a pair of shoes. I was never apologized to. The school lunch food was excellent and I have 0 complaints. I loved every year of being here, and I hope others feel the same. It's not the happiest place on earth, but it's not the worst place on earth either.
What I liked most about Camdenton High School was the support. There was an overwhelming amount of support, teachers, coaches, friends, people you didn't even know. Everyone was always there, and most importantly everyone was there to root for your success. I would like to see some changes among a few of the staff members. Some teachers/deans/counselors treat us as if we're children. As if we couldn't possibly have a life outside of school. Like our soul purpose was to go to school and do our assignments. They don't realize that some of us have jobs, hobbies, and a social life that is important to us, and our future.
