Overall I personally have had a good experience with my school. Just like any other ordinary high school you are figuring yourself out through out the years and finding out whats best for you to give out to this world. The school has a good variety of career programs, many teachers have good connections or amazing suggestions for future references. Teachers here are very understanding and main goal is for students to see all the good things they are capable of. As a senior there is a co-op option, either in or out of school. Of course having to meet the standards with in grades, I do Co-op in school and it has been a great experience.
Camden county technical school gave me the first experience of an American school, as I went to school in Puerto Rico my entire life. I was able to learn and speak fluent english and explore options that were not available in Puerto Rico. I was able to better understand my career options and decided I wanted to pursue Nursing and eventually pursue Research.
The school overall is good. Some great teachers and administrations work well with students and get them to succeed. The campus is pretty nice compared to other schools in the area. Although its main building is old and the classrooms don't have air conditioning. The cafeteria is in the basement and the gym size is below average, but the main building's front is very historic. The school lacks two key areas; trips and fun events. There are barely any school trips. The school doesn't really have any homecomings or pep rallies either. They have started doing those things recently but they still a long way to go for them to actually be good.
