I liked the tight-knit community that was focused on the success of the students. One thing that I would like to see change is that I would like to see more opportunities for the high school students in terms of classes offered and chances to get ahead in school so that they can get some of their general college classes out of the way before they head off to college.
Terrible school, high teacher turnover rate, bullying is a big problem that the admin does nothing about. Most of the teachers only care about the school's sports programs, if a student does not want to play a sport they are bullied by staff and other students into playing. There is no cultural diversity in this school. Math teacher is horrible and not enough classes offered.
I don't participate so I don't really know
I have gone to school here since kindergarten. I like that I have known some of my classmates since then. We are more of a family than classmates. I would definitely go to school here again, no serious problem kids.
Teachers help as needed, don't see them putting in to much "extra" time though for those who struggle.
Our teachers do what they can for us. They all have different teaching styles, but they also keep learning styles around the same. Our teachers do care about us and some of our teachers are our athletic coaches.
What happens in our school usually only makes it to the people watching it, unless the cops get called.
We don't have any choices from season to season, so we all play the same sports with each other. The coaches are like another parent. Our coaches cae about us as more than athletes, they care about us a people as well.
This is the kind of school that is more like a family, where the teachers care about whether you're passing your grades or failing. They are passionate about what they do as teachers and that makes our learning environment that much better.
We have a good school with small amounts of people. I wish we had more resources for school subjects. We are scheduled around what people need to take during the school year. All in all it's a good school.
The teachers at Camas County High School focus on one on one time with all of the students. No student gets left behind, and all teachers have a very strict curriculum that they follow. This allows the students to learn more. We as a high school including the teachers have bonding exercises to get to know one another, and have a deeper and stronger connection.
