I have been a student at CAM for the past 5 years and have enjoyed nearly every moment of it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The students are encouraging, welcoming, and create a studious environment. This school resembles a family; close-knit and loving. The teachers are very kind and it is clear that they care for their students' education. As for the curriculum, it is very rigorous and adequately prepares the students for college. Before applying to CAM, I went to regular public schools, which is completely different. The students at CAM are serious about their education and respectful to their teachers and classmates. Students attending public schools tend to be more unruly and reckless, but the students at CAM practice good character and have high moral standards. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a student at CAM and am excited to graduate having completed the entire high school program.

CAM is a small school with grades 3-12. The teachers are friendly and are interested in helping students succeed. A wide variety of Honors and AP classes are offered. The rigorous classes prepare students for college. CAM doesn't offer much for music, art, or sports, but students can play sports for other public schools in the district. Cold lunches are available every day and CAP (Cam Academy Parents) sells pizza every Tuesday.
With all that makes it so unique and charming, the first thing that springs to mind about CAM is how small it is; this is both it's greatest strength and it's biggest weakness. With it's small class-size, CAM has a great lack of opportunities outside of its core academic curriculum; CAM does not offer a great variety of clubs, a wide choice of electives, or any sport whatsoever. However, with the smallness also comes familiarity; during my eight years at there, the entire class has grown almost as close as family. My classmates have given me nothing but joy and support, and I've made some lifelong friends. Overall, CAM's shortcomings are overcome by everything else it offers. By spending my high school years there, I've been able to soar higher academically and forge closer bonds than any other school I could have attended; I wouldn't trade my time there for any other school.
