Great place to send your kids. The community at CCHS is one of a kind. Very happy my parents sent me here as the teachers/academics really prepared me well for college and taught me how to have an exceptional work ethic, which is key moving forward in life. I loved the athletics at CCHS as I was and still am very competitive. It pushed me to be my best and also was a great atmosphere for comradery and spending time with friends/classmates outside of school. There is definitely a large presence of faith within all aspects at Calvin too. Couldn't have asked for a better high school experience. Go Squires.
I give my experience at Calvin Christian high school a ten out of ten. I am only on my third year here, but it's more than just a school, it's a family. Through their programs, I feel ready to go out into the world to make a difference. I have met amazing people here through basic classes and extracurricular activities. I could go on and on about the impact that the adults have made for me here. The teachers are invested in the kids and truly want the best for us. In addition to the teachers, the coaches are amazing. They pour their hearts into the team and give us the desire to work hard. I would highly recommend Calvin to everyone. Yes, it's a small school, but that means extra time to build friendships and relationships with all of the people around you. The atmosphere is not as much of a school as it is a home.
Calvin Christian is a great Christian school. The teachers are super helpful and supportive. For a smaller school, there are still many opportunities in sports and extracurriculars.
Overall, Calvin has been a crazy adventure. There are many good sides to Calvin. For example, It's tight knit community can be comforting to some. Also, you can really have a personal relationship with the faculty, and you can tell they care about where you are both academically and spiritually. They always want to walk alongside you and advertise that they are here for you when you need it. On the flip side of things, Calvin can seem very cliquey, since it is small and people run in small circles. Another downside of Calvin being small, is that there are certain sports or other extracurricular activities that the school doesn't have the funds for. Calvin can seem very exclusive, but overall academically it is pretty good.
I really enjoyed my time at Calvin Christian High school. I learned and grew a lot personally and academically. The teachers genuinely care about the students and I made lots of life long friends here.
I love the teachers and falculty that works at this school! The teachers are always there to support students and the genuinely care about their well-being. There are many chances to get involved too! New clubs keep springing up and they offer wonderful outlets to talented students. Their athletic programs reflect the hard work put in by the coaches and young student athletes. Calvin’s theater program is top-notch and spurs meaningful thought and conversation as it brings the community together through performing. Calvin also encourages students to find a faith that is their own. There are always people who are willing to pray with and for students! I would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for a place to call home!
I loved my grade and most of the kids at my school. I loved sporting events and games to help connect our school and grades. I strongly dislike the administration and their choices made me not recommend anyone should send their kids to this school. A majority of the staff is fake towards the students and acted as if we were children who could not handle serious things.
Calvin has hidden activities going on behind the scenes. The teachers commonly gossip about the students behind their backs, parents use false accusations as a way to get back at coaches and teachers they are angry with, any conflict is swept under the rug no matter what actually happened, teachers leave at a surprising rate, administration lies about curriculum changes, teachers have been offered “hush money” from the school to keep secrets. This school has problems that stem from its leadership. The school is unsuccessfully trying to move into the 21st century with small fixes while claiming that they are using technology in their educational process. Many of their teachers hurt the educational prospects of their students by being forced to teach with new educational methods while they are woefully unprepared to enact. While the people who attend this school are good people, the school has so many issues that I could never recommend someone sending their children to this school.
Calvin Christian is a very good academic school. The teachers are fantastic and they want you to succeed in their classes. My experience with that aspect of Calvin has been phenomenal. I have not had the best experience with friendships at Calvin, but I also came from a different middle school so I did not have that connection with people from a young age.
Clavin Christian High School has great academics. They offer many different sports to play. Parents can get involved in almost everything if they would like! There is a fair share of remarkable teachers here at CCHS. Our hot lunch food that is offered here is top of the line unless you suffer from a food allergy, then there are fewer options to choose from. CCHS is a predominately white school, and the building, (although they are trying to update it with new furnishings) is slightly out of date.
Calvin Christian develops intelligent students, especially compared to most other educational institutions at the K-12 levels.
I love how this school is centered around Christianity and that it is a close-knit community. It is a high achieving school with high GPA's and very accomplished teachers. However, the issues come in with the students. It is a very clique filled school with lots of animosity towards new people or changes in the status quo. Many students have left because of bullying issues. Also, this school, because it is so small, is very closed off in how it views the world. Change happens slowly there. Also, there is no LGBTQ+ club. Also, the music, drama, and arts departments are good but very underbudgeted.
Attending high school here has been a wonderful experience for me. Although not the most diverse school and not the best sporting teams, the school's teachers, staff, and administrators really set the school apart. It is amazing how much they care for you and are willing to help you with assignments. I cannot emphasize enough how nice it is to be in a place where each teacher wants to help you succeed.
Calvin Christian High School has a great community, and they're always working on improvements. I have enjoyed my time here, as it is a great school to experience Christian learning.
I love the teachers and my classmates. I love the small environment and how close we all are. I am able to go to my teachers at any time and ask them for help. I am able to stay after school or come before school if I need tutoring. I love how prepared for college I feel and I love that I will be going to college with many of the kids from my school.
Overall, having graduated from CCHS in 2010, I would recommend people to send their children here. The school is located in a good, safe neighborhood, and the teachers are mostly down-to-earth, kind, and genuinely try to give you the resources needed to make it into college. Above all, this institution offers a firm Christian worldview, without the negative aspects of religious educational systems, such as extreme intolerance or forced conversions.
Good, relaxed student atmosphere is provided.

Calvin Christian High School has prepared me not only for college, but for life. The community is tight knit and accepting, filled with teachers who strive to allow every student the chance to exceed and excel.
