Calvary Schools of Holland Reviews
Rating 3.64 out of 5 22 reviews
Calvary is a extremely small school which can be seen as a good thing and a more negative aspect. Coming from a public high school and transferring there my junior year was a shock. Being that my graduating class is only 2 people the culture there is very different. Attending a small school can have the benefits of having extra attention from teachers and always getting the help you need. While also lacking a few important aspects as well. For example, the social aspect of school. With a smaller school you don't get as many opportunities in sports and AP classes. Students miss out on a lot of the regular high school experience. Which may not bother other students but in my experience that was the most challenging. What I would like to see change is having more classes to choose from. Also preparing the students more for college.
I went to Calvary Schools of Holland from pre-school all the way to graduating my senior year back in 2019. A good thing about the school is that it's small so students can connect with the teachers and their fellow classmates. But the small size of the school is also kind of a bad thing. There are not many opportunities at Calvary because of its small size. There are no clubs for students to join or programs to help students in need. The last time I checked they didn't even have a bus program. Other than that it was a decent school.
Calvary Schools of Holland is a great school with a unique learning style. This school has helped me learn and grow in how thoroughly I think through a concept or give an answer. It has expanded my. ability to retain and retell information I have learned over months or minutes. Overall Calvary Schools of Holland has given me a great education.
