At Calvary we are a family! Teachers and administration try very hard to work with us students when we are struggling academically, socially, or any other way. I do wish that Calvary was a bit more diverse. Everyone is very conservative, so that makes it difficult to gain real world experience - where everyone has different opinions.

I came in as a freshman straight from public school. In public school I was bullied, picked on, and never recognized for who I really was. Here at Calvary I am recognized. Here, everyone knows my name and my experience. I have shared a laugh with every single student and teacher in this school. Calvary welcomed me in with open arms.
Calvary Lutheran is a small, private school in central Missouri. My graduating class is only twenty-two students. Some might see this as a "bad" thing for us being so small, but honestly, that is what makes us great. We strive to be a family here at Calvary and we achieve this goal many times. Throughout my high school experience, we have gotten bigger, going from 99 kids total my freshman year, to now having 131 kids my senior year. Calvary has helped me become a strong leader not only in my activities in school, but also in the community. One thing I hope Calvary changes after I am gone, is only the size. I hope more kids can come to Calvary and have an experience like mine. I hope Calvary will never change in being a family, but become an even bigger one.
