One of the most outstanding aspects of Calvary Lutheran High School is the atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and inviting. Calvary is a place where high school is truly what you make of it. The acedemics challenge even the best students, and there are tons of opportunities to be involved in sports, clubs, and school activities. I have loved attending there these past 3 years, and I can't wait to step and set the tone my senior year.
At Calvary we are a family! Teachers and administration try very hard to work with us students when we are struggling academically, socially, or any other way. I do wish that Calvary was a bit more diverse. Everyone is very conservative, so that makes it difficult to gain real world experience - where everyone has different opinions.
I came in as a freshman straight from public school. In public school I was bullied, picked on, and never recognized for who I really was. Here at Calvary I am recognized. Here, everyone knows my name and my experience. I have shared a laugh with every single student and teacher in this school. Calvary welcomed me in with open arms.
