Calvary Christian Academy Reviews
Rating 3.31 out of 5 29 reviews
Going to Calvary Christian academy, is one of the best decisions my mother made for me. When I first started I was very shy, I really wasn’t interested in going to school, because I was always bullied at my last school . This school inspired me to do my best at everything I do and love myself. I learn with God I can do anything. I join cheer, softball and the basketball team. The staff is great and I enjoyed being in class with the teachers. The teacher make sure they are available to talk to and will help you with your studies.
This school is great if you want your child to have a strong Christian foundation in grade school and even up to middle school. The high school is atrocious. They barely have any extracurricular activities other than very common sports. The sports equipment is typically very old or not even existent. They have only one club which is the chess club. The "guidance counselor" practically rarely does her job and it is like pulling teeth to get her to do anything. You can pretty much only do dual enrollment through a Christian college called SEU. If you try to go to any other college the school does not help you whatsoever except cover the tuition fees. The high school curriculum is very dumbed down and the only reason a high school student can enjoy their time is if they have friends at the school.
THIS SCHOOL IS A HIDDEN GEM! Excellent education in a faith based and inspired environment with a great sports and a district top winning athletic department- we are so happy to have switched to this school. You can't go wrong!
