I have some of the best memories at Calvary Christian Academy! I absolutely love the teachers, coaches, and staff! This school definitely strives to develop well mannered and maturing Christian students. I learned so many different ways on how to take my spiritual journey on another level. I also had lots of fun participating and volunteering in the many different athletic activities during the summer and throughout the fall. However, while I was in high school we had a change in administration and teachers, therefore the academic side became very weak. I really wish there was earlier exposure the younger students about the SAT’s, ACT’s, and the whole college processes. However, I do believe that with the amazing staff, almost every single teacher and coach would be more than willing to meet private with any student to work on and improve these things. Besides that, CCA is an amazing community and also strives to include everyone!

Calvary is a good school, has great teachers who care & good academics. Not many sports/clubs. Cafe has good food. Chapel is awesome, although students aren't very engaging unless you are at the front row. The food drive is fun. Banquet is nice & you'll have fun. Wish you could do things that other schools do like decorating parking spots & grad caps, senior skip day, etc. You'll get used to the all nighters(11-12th grade). When I first started at calvary it was great but as years went by I started noticed it was going downhill. Most new people were from public school whose parents put them in cause they were hoping for a miracle change. Keep in mind in a small school word spreads fast. Sadly my class had many fakes, fake people, fake friends, fake christians, they act like angels in school so you won't suspect anything because you wouldn't believe what some were really doing outside school. I enjoyed Calvary, despite the people.
I loved my time at Calvary Christian Academy. They helped me grow spiritually and academically. I only attended the school for sophomore year of high school through senior year, but I was accepted and became a part of the family in no time. The teachers truly care about your education and understanding, as well as your personal troubles. The students are diverse and respectful. The school does an excellent job of incorporating Christian aspects into every single subject as well as having those Christ-like characteristics be evident in the staff members.
