Teachers who really care about their students. Traditional teaching methods, does not teach common core, which is a big plus. Great Student-teacher ratio with small class sizes. Bible centered academics that mold students into future Christian Leaders. I would highly recommend this school to any parent!

The main reason most of us send our children here is that we want a Christian education for our kids. We love that they pray in class, and have a curriculum geared towards a biblical point-of-view, But our family believes the most important thing has to be the love of Christ. The school seems to have no mission, no drive to teach their students what it is like to be humbled by serving others. Why are we paying all of this money to teach our children about the love of Christ when all they are learning is that they must follow certain guidelines to be liked by their teachers and God. There aren’t many other perks to this place. Hardly any extracurriculars, only 2 sports for boys, and no opportunities to make a variety of friends. They need an entire adjustment of their fundamental beliefs before the school can become better again.
In the past Calvary had a great community that cared for others. It had service club and caring teachers. Now the staff at this school seem to only care about appearance. The school claims to be Christian but they do nothing for the community as a school. The academics are decent for the elementary students. The high school academics can be stated as below average. There are hardly any classes to choose from and they care more about dress code than they do the students personally. The staff members also easily pick certain students over others based on personal preference. Students are not treated equally in discipline or personal relations. These students are being taught that you are only a good person if you follow their rules. If you deviate from their standard of "okay" then you are treated as an outcast and not part of this advertised "Calvary family."
