The education is very good as the school scores very high in fine arts competitions, often winning first place. They receive the best scores on history, math, science, and reading tests. There are a couple of great teachers, those are the ones with the most experience. The Bible teacher for the high-school is horrible. The quizzes and tests are way harder than the grade level, most students struggle more in his class than in the higher math classes. He is the one bad teacher and will be leaving at the end of 2019. The secretary is one of nicest people you can meet and seems to have everything done correctly. Their sports program is a joke, losses almost every game, no gym. A lot of gossip, but friend circles are across all grades of high-school. Only expect three field trips per year. This is a great school for students that don't have a huge interest in sports, but want to put their efforts to fine arts, education, and friends.

All 3 of my children went to CBCA. They did very well at the school and the curriculum was challenging. It is not a perfect school, but a very good school and my children excelled there. All 3 went on to college and got to skip the non-credit math & English that about half the students have to take. Two of my children got to skip English 101 & English 102, and went to Advanced English as Freshmen in college. One of our children was offered to go straight to college Calculus. They got an exceptional education at Calvary.
I just ended freshmen year, looked at other options in my area, and realized Calvary isn't really the best for me. The majority of good teachers have left. Last year, there was NO language teacher. Although we do score well on academics, the class choices are extremely limited. There are also no clubs or after school activities, excluding the limoted variety of sports and the annual play. I am considering switiching to public school due to the intreases opportunitues and diversity.
