one of the best Christian educations that you could give your children! prioritizes teaching Gods Word. Has a great and challenging school curriculum.
I’ve been going to Calvary since kindergarten. The teachers are caring and they really want you to succeed. Also they are very founded on the Word Of God. Every day you learn life lessons from a Christian perspective.
The Admission is very fair
There are no bullying in school which is unheard of.
The teachers are very caring and know all the students by name.
Administration & Policies are one of the best in comparison to other schools. Bad behavior is not tolerated.
Lunch orders comes from a local restaurant.
Calvary Baptist Christian Academy focuses on the safety, intelligence and spiritual growth of the students. There are no drugs or alcohol on campus. The administrator knows all students by name and have been a mentor to all.
The teachers at my school are very engaging; I grew up with most of them(one was a senior while I was in second grade). They truly care about their students, they really make themselves available and they want you to succeed. They each have different teaching styles, and they are quite knowledgeable in their respective fields. They show everyday that they want you to succeed by pushing you to your very best.
My school is much too small for clubs, but we do have a student council which plans events such as spirit week, field day and the end-of-the-year banquet.
Over this past summer the school has gotten a jazzy new face paint; they even have high tech computers in every room. Students are responsible for keeping the school neat and tidy. The principle himself helps tutor students if they need it. Parents are very supportive of this school and help put on field trips.
My school is catered by a local restaurant called Crave. It is a Filipino place that severs all types of food from hamburgers to lumpia. The price is only $4.50 per meal and your order a week in advance. The food is quite plentiful and taste good. They easily accommodate food allergies. If one wishes not to order lunch there microwaves available(jr. and sr. high only) .
I have been here since kindergarten and though it was not always easy, it is a joy being here. The teachers and staff are great. They teachers have always gone out of their way to make sure students understand what is going on. My favorite experience is going away for competition. Every year my high school competes in the GSACS competition in Santa Maria. We spend three days and two nights. We prep months in advance. I love simply being with my friends and competing with other like minded students. I also love being on student council.
My school has several rules in place so that students don't hurt themselves. For the most part students obey them and no one get hurts. We are a clumsy batch and we hurt ourselves a bit, but never anything too severe.
My school is much too small for any actual teams that compete (unless you count chess), but every day for p.e. we play a variety of sports from football to handball. The students themselves fund raised for sports equipment. Everyone get into playing sports (even if we are not the most coordinated).
The staff are very relaxed and work hard to make sure you understand the curriculum. There is about 14 high school students in all so there is not any bullying. Most students happily abide dress code--knee length skirts for girls and slacks for boys.
