Calusa Preparatory School Reviews

starting here at Calusa was an amazing experience. At first one may think that the mold forming on the walls and the pitch black darkness of the hallways is in no measure a testament to the way things are run here at Calusa. but low and behold the family environment that is clearly a fundamentalistic part of any successfull school is an addition to the school curriculum. Don't mind the racism and homophobia of the teachers and school structure, they are professional enough to never let that slip out of there mouths. This school needs to keep up the good work ! and if your kid leaves, not ready for college, don't blame the lack of competence in the appropriation of proper education material, or else you'll burn in the flames down below! then again all they need to succeed is the bible. P.S the molds are probably a safety hazard waiting to occur and the darkness is not good for the health of anyone's eye health. get ready to spend money on the biggest liability ever.

Calusa is a Christian-based school that is actually affordable. They aren't perfect, but they are always on an upward track trying to improve. They always have a listening ear and put into action resolutions. They don't hinder the child's spiritual or educational growth; instead they encourage it by meeting them right where they are.
Entering my freshman year of high school ,my parents decided that I would go to a private school and not the arts school I was looking forward to. Devastated; I deliberately did poorly on the entrance exam. The school’s administrator, however, the lucid Dr. Linton “Doc” Fowler, knew from my previous academic record that I was attempting self-sabotage. Despite my resistance, I was accepted into his school and was given the opportunity to get to know Doc, the man who would prove to have a huge impact on my life and growth. With time I began to become intrigued by his passion and dedication to his school and students. Doc was never late. He worked hard , found merit in every individual, never left a promise unkept, and made no excuses.

Doc was an expert basketball coach. Thanks to him I developed a desire to excel in the sport. The greatest lesson that he taught me was that I am not on the team to make myself shine, but rather to help my whole team be as great as possible. Doc helped me to see a much greater potential for my own life. Interestingly, this newfound ambition enabled me to utilize his teachings on selflessness, hard work, and staying positive. I began to spread the lessons he taught me to my peers, and coming into my junior year I was appointed captain of my volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams. I’ve learned much about leadership and personal growth. I am the result of Dr. Linton Fowler’s team spirit and winning attitude.
