The thing that I like about Callaway High School is that some teachers teach us and if we don't know it they take a little extra time to make sure we do. Then, others teachers don't care if we have it. My experience at the school have been fun because I meet new friends every year and it's my senior year of high school. I like how the teachers and counselor try to get us ready for college. They always tell us how that when we leave high school everything is going to change. Another thing that I like about my school is that we have activities that lets us take a break from class. There are not many things that I would change about my school but two things. The first thing, is to have a party every term for the students and staff that has made a positive influence on others. The second thing, is a girls mentor group. I think they should have a mentor group because some people might have a problem at home or they might not feel confident.
During my tenure at Callaway High School. I must say the environment was very conducive for learning. The teachers and other staff members where always available to help students at any time. During class or after class. During my sophomore year December of 2016. We lost our principal Mr. William Trammell. He was a great influence on majority of the student. We need more educators like him. He walked the halls between classes. Making sure that everyone was on time and in the proper dress code. Mr. Trammell always had a warm smile on his face.He was constantly provided students with guidance and positive encouragement. A great man gone too soon , but never forgotten. Being at Callaway High School will always be a very memorable moment in my life . If I had to change anything at Callaway High School. It would be to better prepare students for ACT testing and College.
