A great online learning environment to prepare for college. There are on campus meetings with teachers to check progress and ask questions every month. Councilors are helpful and want to see you succeed. Does require a measure of discipline to complete assignments by oneself, as teachers will not be hovering over your shoulder to do so. Highly recommend if you are looking for the college experience!
This is an amazing school. It offers a mix of challenging and easier classes, though to succeed regardless of which classes you take, you must follow a schedule and complete all homework in a timely fashion. Outside of this, students and faculty are amazing!
As someone who enjoys learning at her own pace and being independent, I feel like Cal Prep is a perfect fit. At the same time, the environment is small enough that the teachers are able to be deeply involved in the learning process and to help you grow in your education. The teachers and staff are caring and efficient, and the student body includes all sorts of people from different backgrounds. Overall, attending Cal Prep has been a wonderful experience for me.
