I have been attending Calhoun County High School since 2018. My AP courses teach me about an abundance of topics. The food is one of the things about the school that should change drastically. There aren't many options to choose from. We need healthier and tastier food options. We are a poor school and do not get many opportunities such as performing arts and certain sports. We do not have a tennis court nor a tennis team. I think they should add tennis to the list of sports options.
I attended Calhoun County High school my 9th-grade year from leaving Saint Matthews k-8. Attending Calhoun County High school has helped in tremendous ways such as building unbreakable bonds with teachers and students and, learning how to accept me for me.
My experience these 4 years have been a roller coaster. I liked that everyone had a connection whether it was good or bad. The teachers here are great and they tell you the truth, if you like it or not.
The school is pretty nice i suppose We started online and it sucks. The teacher have an idea what they are doing but it's kinda hard on the students
Calhoun County is a great place to attend a high school. It is more settle and convenient. There are many opportunities and events to get yourself well known and organized. It has been an amazing four year high school experience.
I have been attending Calhoun County High School for the past three years. Calhoun County has some of the best test scores because we are adequately prepared for the ACT, SAT, WIN, and the ASVAB. We are also given the opportunity to attend Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College for free. This benefits us because we can be sophomores in college once we graduate high school. The only thing I would change about Calhoun County is our clubs. I believe that we should have clubs so we can add these extra circulars to our transcripts.
I like the overall experience and feel of Calhoun County High School, you feel very welcome when you are a student there and there is always something going on that you can be involved in. The teachers at CCHS are very involved and they love to encourage us as students, they want us to succeed and do well in life and school. I am now a senior at CCHS and I have loved every minute of being here and being involved. There are many electives and activities available. There is nothing that I would change about Calhoun County High School.
Great school all around! As a student I was able to take on a trade and also dual enroll in college to gain college credits. I found that to be a great jump start on life, but as I graduated college recently, i found that there are high school students in other districts who actually have had the opportunity to not only take some college courses but completely graduate college while still in high school. I think that allowing students to dual enroll earlier in high school would be a good change. Also, there weren’t a lot of club activity and involvements which would create more cohesion amongst the students.
I really enjoy Calhoun County High School, it has taught me confidence and how to be myself. We are offered dual enrollment with colleges to prepare us for college. Our teachers at Calhoun County High School are great and will help you with anything. The administration is good with any problems that need to be solved. My experience has been great at Calhoun County High School and I am sad to leave.
Calhoun County High School is where my entire family graduated from. Since back in the day, It's just gotten better. Other than the food, the academics is great. Our guidance counselors help us make the best out of our high school career. Everyone at CC is like family.
Calhoun County High is overall a very good school. Although most of the teachers are good teachers some are somewhat slack.
Calhoun County High was difficult to adjust to at first, but the teachers and other students helped me pull through it. If there were any problems, the teachers that I had classes with always seemed to become involved by trying to help the student body. The faculty and staff of Calhoun County High made sure to find ways to involve the parents with the events, meetings, or our academics. They have always been looking out for us since day one of high school. I can not tell you how much help they have been as to preparation for college. Whether it was tests or fees the educators and other staff made sure to show that they care about us.
Overall it was a nice experience. The school itself is small and there aren't many students, so everyone is well connected. The staff cares about the students. I would just like to see more diversity.
The school was overall decent. During my graduation year we were an A+ school. The teachers and other faculty were like family and always there when needed.
My experience at Calhoun County High School has been overall very well. I like that it is a small school where I can know everybody and get attention from teachers and staff. The biggest needed improvement I can see from an academics standpoint is offering ap classes and moving at a faster pace.
I love going to Calhoun County High School because they prepare you for college. They don’t dont take slack on anyone no matter the race that you are and they treat everyone the same. I would change anything at that school.
Calhoun county high school definitely prepared students for the future. Guidance counselors helped students to get into colleges and they always did a great job.
