The school is very small and most people are very friendly. People are able to get plenty of attention from teachers and become friends with them.
I like that it is a small town school that is able to give us a much more personalized learning experience. It also has a fairly good sports complex and many extra curricular activities that keep us students on our toes. The teachers are very nice and the student body has great school spirit, however, some of the clubs either are not getting noticed or are not receiving enough funds to fully operate which is dragging down some of the hopes/dreams of a handful of students. Overall it is a great school with great people.
The main thing I loved about Caledonia Mumford high school was the relationships with the other students and the staff. Cal-Mum is a small school which allows you to feel connected to your surrounding and allows everybody ton help each other out in their times of need.
Cal-Mum is a very small school, my graduating class has 82 kids in it. On that note everyone knows everyone and knows everything about everyone. Sometimes that can be good sometimes because people will be able to relate to you and help you through hard times. On the other hand it can have it's downs because you may not want your private life out in the open. The teachers are very understanding, they want all of us to succeed and do our best. Being so small the teachers can create such a close relationship with every student. Overall Cal-Mum is a good school and is a great place for families.
Caledonia-Mumford is an exceptionally interesting school. The teachers really care for the students. They care how well they do and if they succeed or not. Classes are challenging however there is plenty of opportunites for students to succeed. They make students college and career ready.
the families of this small community truly care and do great things for everyone
I feel as though I could go to the teachers for any advice about school or even about life in general
I typically feel safe at my school but I think staff are too trusting of community members/random people to enter the school.
There are very little extracurriculars outside of athletics. The best one in my opinion is the ski club.
The teachers are very knowledgable and are typically available to assist students outside of class. Most teachers are very enthusiastic about the subject they teach.
I love how it is a small school, you know everyone and you know their family. I think it is really unique that my parents went to school at Caledonia with my teachers that also went to this high school.
Teachers at my school are willing to help when a student needs it, they are all very friendly and easy to build relationships with that will help when writing recommendation letters for college. They know all of their students very well.
I had a great experience at Cal-Mum. The teachers there are absolutely amazing. The faculty members teach you lessons that are applicable to every day life. You will learn things here that you will never forget.
There are a lot of choices at our school. Our music programs are very popular, but they get almost no funding.
there is always someone wanting to help someone else whether it be teachers or students.
They cooperate with the student and are very nice.
Being able to get involved with clubs is the best thing. When involved in a club we interact with donation organizations and help out people that need it. We also take field trips that have to do with the club you arein.
