Caldwell has a range of amazing teachers who work hard. As well as Caldwell offers many courses in Agriculture, Business, Nursing and many more. They have an amazing vocational school.
The teachers are attentive and want you to succeed. We are constantly pushed to become better and learn. They don't accept anything less than your best and provide us with tools to reach our potential. The small town atmosphere has provided a good student to teacher ratio. The administration does everything they can to make sure we are taken care of and are fair. The guidance office is excellent about getting us resources for college and helping us when we need it. There are multiple clubs, something for everyone to enjoy. The sports programs are wonderfully coached and the sports directors do a good job of making sure that everything has been taken care of before the games and even before the season begins. The music and arts department provides extensive opportunities for all students interested. The teachers of these classes work well with their students and make them feel like someone cares about their music or art.
My four years spent at CCHS were an absolute blast. The faculty and staff at the high school went above and beyond to make all of there students feel loved, smart, and appreciated. My favorite thing about my high school was how involved everyone was in the athletics. Friday night football games were always a big deal. Caldwell County High School made me feel at home.
I am a senior this year and I am very impressed about how our school administration has handled our school closure because of COVID-19. All of our teacher are doing there best and being engaged in our academic lives throughout the whole process.
It’s nice and the education is really good and the faculty are nice. They should add more clubs. It’s not that bad
I liked the good environment and always having someone such as teachers that I could talk too. They made my bad days better. One thing that could be better is the choice of food served during lunch and a different variety of foods.
Caldwell County High School will always have a great impact on my life and help me strive to be my best at college. My school helps me become college and career ready with the programs that they offer. The staff at Caldwell County is always willing to help and provide information for every student when needed. I would never change anything about going to Caldwell County High School the impact every teacher made on my life has made me into the person I am today.
Going to Caldwell made me feel like I actually mattered. The teachers are very helpful and so is the other staff
It’s overall a great school. It has amazing teachers and staff. They always push you to be your absolute best you can be! Overall such a good great school nothing needs to be changed!
I am currently a senior at this school and it is overall an okay school. They have a good staff who cares and tries for their students, but the way we did work was bad. We were mainly tested a lot and after awhile it got old and we did not learn as much as we could have. We did not have a lot of clubs or activities to do at this school so we did not have many opportunities to try new things.
I am a Senior at this school. Overall, the curriculum was too test-based. Which eventually leads to cramming the information the night before only to forget it right after the test. This isn't an appropriate way to learn things and generally led to a lack there-of. I would say the teachers create a very close-knit and child-oriented environment. Teachers made it a priority to let students know that they could come to them and speak freely about any issues they were having personally without having to worry about judgment. In total, it was a great school, but poor teaching strategies were enforced by the upper levels.
It is just about what you would expect from a high school in rural Kentucky. The classes are low difficulty even at the honors level, prejudices are very prominent, and there is a large emphasis on sports in the classroom (more so than you would expect).
Enjoyed most of my time here. Its very clickish. Teachers do not enforce rules fairly across the board.
The athletics here at Caldwell are honestly some of the best. Our support group from the community and student sections are incredible.
I think that the teachers here do a good job of getting our knowledge up. They always make sure to take the extra couple of hours so that we have the right work and that we are understanding.
Sometimes it seems that more focus is on the football team than any other team, but each organization is still very much supported.
