I think there are some awesome opportunities for Cair Paravel to enhance college readiness. One idea could be to establish a collaboration with a nearby college, which would allow students to take actual college courses while still in high school. This would provide them with a taste of the college experience and help them better understand what to expect. Additionally, Cair Paravel could consider aligning more of their classes with AP requirements. By doing so, they would not only give students a chance to challenge themselves academically, but also boost their chances of standing out on college applications. It's all about setting students up for success! 🎓
I came sophomore year of high school and was immediately welcomed in. I am on the volleyball and cheerleading team as well as the captain of the cheer team. The teachers will do anything for their students and love their jobs. They truly care about the wellbeing and learning experience of each and every student. In addition, I am becoming stronger in my faith by being around Christian people and am able to shed God's light better by going to this school.
such a fulfilling experience, where I learned things that none of my friends ever will. Philosophy, Apologetics, and Calculus are just three of the amazing classes offered here. My only problem is that this school turns kids into very attractive students for colleges, yet offers little to no academic programs or awards for these students to show it. No AP or IB, no dual credit, and no honor society. Almost anyone at this school could achieve these awards, yet the school doesn't offer them.
