I am currently a high school senior at Cabrini. My overall high school experience has been one I will cherish forever because of everything Cabrini has given and taught me. I have grown extremely close to my class of 90 and virtually know almost all of my school's community! I am extremely grateful for the rigorous curriculum Cabrini has provided me to prepare me well for college. I am also in many clubs such as student council, ambassadors, and NHS which have helped me enhance my leadership skills. Cabrini has given me so much and I could not imagine myself going anywhere else. The teachers are always incredibly helpful when in need of extra assistance and they are always fair.
I loved the sense of community within the school. There were no popular people or a social hierarchy. Everyone felt like they were on the same playing field. I feel that very group got a chance to shine. Sports, the arts, theater, choir, academic teams everyone was recognized at some point. Cabrini felt like a safe place and the teachers felt very approachable. My little sister also followed in my foot steps and attended Cabrini as well. She would run around there as a young kid while I was doing my after school activities most times. So she must have felt very comfortable there as well.
Cabrini is a small all Catholic girl high school. For me, this school felt like it’s own little community. For starters, the facility truly believed in their students and always tried to offer new ways on reaching out to help their students to better comprehend their academics. This allowed me to understand my learning abilities and perform excellent scores on my tests. I can happily say my teachers truly made such a positive experience because I felt like a person and not just a number. Our classes were small but this allowed more room for participation from the students. The best part is that the principle even knew the students by name because how involved she was, which is so unique because this can not be said by most school. Aside from the amazing faculty, the traditions Is what really made our community whole. I can truly say I made the right choice of choosing Cabrini High School.
