I love the dance program in Cabrillo High School! Most of the students prior to participating in the program have little to zero dance experience yet, under the supervision of Keisha Clark-Booth (the dance teacher), improvement is evidently seen in a period of time!
The AP classes I took had excellent teachers as well! They prepare their students for the AP tests despite having the school year start later than most districts like LAUSD (LBUSD starts the academic year 2 weeks later). I love their passion, especially that of the AP Language and AP US History teachers (Ms. Montooth and Mr. Garrett, respectively). Overall, I just love this school and everything it does for people of color! Jaguar Pride!

My experience attending Cabrillo High School in Long Beach has been great. The teachers and staff continue to support me to pursue challenging classes and my overall goals. My liking of this school is that we are a community who seek for each others help and support with anything. The teachers and students constantly have one on one conversations about school subjects, opportunities, and future plans. A change I would like to see in Cabrillo is students from the Various SLC, small learning communities, to have the opportunity to take another SLCs course, not just what is mandatory.
My experience here at Cabrillo is the best. I wouldn't want to trade schools for anything. Here at Cabrillo, the teachers and staffs cares for each student on campus. They will respect you, but it'd be great for them to have respect in return. Although some students don't behave well, Cabrillo's teachers and staffs deals with it the best way possible. I like this school because of how diverse it is. This school also has pathways which is a start for a career he/she may be interested in. I would like for the athletic program to change as in winning more games and become more competitive. I'm sure within a couple years that should be happening.
