As a sophomore that attends Cabrillo High School currently, I would have to say my experience so far has been outstanding. I came from a middle school where I believed I had the chance to go to a "better" high school than Cabrillo, yet after spending a few months there I became attached and did not want to leave. Ranging from the students to staff, a majority has great attitudes and are very social, so you feel very safe and at home. This school is a place to make new friends and build bigger and better bonds, despite having the "teenage drama." We have a "College and Career Center," where students are given information on scholarships, college on-campus field trips, and more. This is very reliable for students.
Overall, Cabrillo High School is an astonishing school. The campus is big and beautiful, filled with all great up tune students.

I like how the teacher were very engaged on making my life better because they knew how hard is it for someone in a dangerous urban city. I had teachers there that helped me with homework even though I didn't have them as my teacher. I like the way this school was structure for class scheduling and due to my experience there it pushed me to attend San Jose State University and major in Applied Mathematics, minor in Computer Science. By the way my experience was amazing and everyone is willing to help you in this school even if you want to go to the work force, military and even better college.
What I like about Cabrillo High School is that all the teachers encourage students to go to college. They motivate students to work hard and to do our best to achieve our goals. We have a College and Career center that helps students get financial aid, college recommendations, and any help related to college. The changes I suggest for this school are the cleaner bathrooms, easier access to desired classes, and more bully-free organizations. Most of our bathrooms lack mirrors and it is very dirty. We have to sign up for classes and sometimes it’s difficult to attend class meetings because they are after school and during lunch.
