My overall experience at Johnson was good. The thing I liked most was the career path opportunities. Those career path opportunities allowed me to get ahead in school and be ready for college. Another good quality about Johnson is the career readiness classes. These classes gave me the opportunity to prepare and be ready for my future. Projects, essays, and tests helped me a lot and that's what mattered most to me.
I at first didn't feel that I belonged to the school and I felt a little over whelmed by a new surrounding and not sure if the school was a good fit for me. I remembered what my mother said to me "You only going to get out what you put in." I can honestly say that once I found myself, I developed a new fondness for my school and a renewed school spirit.
Overall, C.A Johnson High School shaped me into the young women I am today. Over the years, there were many teachers and administrators who provided me with great guidance and knowledge. The student body size made it easier for everyone to know each other and become close, basically a family. In the halls, there were many administrators and teachers who were parental figures and helped their students as they would with their own children.
I like the school . The people there are very caring ,but the school isn’t very diverse.I wish it had more hands on opportunities.
C.A. Johnson is an inner city public school that has a bad rep for minority violence and mischief. I would not blame the staff, they are actually a group of individuals that look out for their students and try their best to keep them out of trouble.
The school is good but could be better. The school need more activities for the students during the school year and not just after school. I would also like to see more things happen in the related arts program and classes.
I like that I have the ability to be on top with little competition. I hate how rude and disrespectful some of the lunch ladies are. And Im not proud of the schools lunch.
We have to have our ids on during classes, hallways, restroom; even when we enter the school in the morning.
We have HOSA, FBLA and FCCLA where we compete in loval areas then to nationals. They are the best clubs in C.A.Johnson.
C.A.Johnson health science magnet help me open up and take opportunities. If i was not at Johnson i would be this shy little girl doing nothing with her life.
the only thing thats diverse is sexuality.
Teachers and staff barley encourage students to do anything but to be quiet
Most of the school cameras are out, students will go down to the science wing hallway and fight then go to class like nothing happened
I would not go to this school if i had a chance to do it again. Basically all of our funding goes to sports, mainly basketball and football.
The teachers at my school are extremely rude, they can't control their class. They often use profanity with us.
We don't care about what ethnicity you are or your religion because everyone gets along. And we also don't judge about sexual orientation.
Their are a lot of things we can do. And more than one sport or club we can join and be active in.
