I love my school! The community and school pride are unmatched. The student life and athletics are fun, and there is a vast array of people that attend. Luckily, there are a ton of opportunities to get involved in anything you're interested in and you can easily make friends regardless of the fact that its a huge school.
An aspect that I love about my school being so big is that you can completely customize what you want to get out of school. If you are interested in academic rigor there are a multitude of AP classes to choose from, and conversely if you hate difficult classes there are options for that too. We have an amazing arts program as well as biomed academy, athletic training program, and culinary academy. Obviously no school is perfect, but Byron Nelson is an amazing place to be!

I love Byron Nelson high school. The food, attitude, and overall ambiance that is BNHS is amazing. They really care about their students and it shows in everything, from school activities, to the above and beyond they go to ensuring everyone has a good healthy experience in school. I would only change that maybe they add even more safety aspects than they already do, but by no means have I ever felt unsafe. I love the school and all it has to offer!
I believe that Byron Nelson is overall a very good school! I’ve been here for two years now and am very pleased with my education and participation with after school activities. The teachers are very nice and mostly know what they are teaching, and we have very well and high test scores at our school: PSAT, PACT, SAT, ACT, STAAR, and other end of year exams. Our school hasn’t great academics, athletics, and clubs/organizations. We also have a very large amount of students. My experience with the school is 4/5 stars due to, no school can be perfect, but I believe our school is pretty close to it.
