I believe that Byron Nelson is overall a very good school! I’ve been here for two years now and am very pleased with my education and participation with after school activities. The teachers are very nice and mostly know what they are teaching, and we have very well and high test scores at our school: PSAT, PACT, SAT, ACT, STAAR, and other end of year exams. Our school hasn’t great academics, athletics, and clubs/organizations. We also have a very large amount of students. My experience with the school is 4/5 stars due to, no school can be perfect, but I believe our school is pretty close to it.

Byron Nelson is a great place to spend your high school years! The campus is gorgeous, the people are friendly, the teachers are outstanding, and there's so many ways to get involved! Byron Nelson is a campus filled with teachers who genuinely care! They teach in a way that's easy to understand and offer lots of opportunities for clarification if there's a topic you are not understanding.
The school itself is fairly exceptional, the administration does all it can to make the school a better place. Like any school the students still have to put in effort for the school, although there are not a lot of students who want to do better for others rather than themselves. Those who do, however; tend to be more of the upstanding people who go above and beyond, People such as student leaders, students in extra-curricular programs, or students in advanced courses. In Byron there was no shortage of interest in any activity, just like Byron Nelson himself and his interest in golf; and like Byron students partake in activities and not all of them go on to overwhelming success but they enjoy having a skill to exploit in life.
