Being a senior, we face a lot of challenges but as a student at Byers High School, it's made easy. You receive nothing but support from the staff. They are willing to go above and beyond for you to accomplish your dreams by guiding you and providing information you need. Definitely not ready to leave.
My experience at this school was very rough at first. I had problems with other students in the previous years. I just finished my junior year and I am moving into my senior year. I finally found a good group of friends and am taking control of my education and life experiences. Most of the teachers are great and have helped me with any issues I've had. The one thing that I would change would to add more school spirit. At the moment the school spirit is just not there. I would love for that to change. I would also like to bring back the school's music program. This program has disappeared because of the inability to find a music teacher.
I really liked the small town feel and knowing everyone in my grade. I didn't like thought that there were very few options for electives and advanced classes.
I've only ever gone to Byers, and for as long as I can remember I've enjoyed going to school. It's not the highest quality school, nor the biggest, but I've called it home for 18 years now.
Byers junior senior high school is very helpful with academics. If a student didn't understand something any teacher would jump to help them.
I really liked going to school here. The small town size made it so you don't get lost in the crowd and the teachers all knew who you were.
Our teachers and staff members are very good most of the time. We have an outstanding counselor and she helps us with the prep for college tremendoulsy.
