Butler is a fantastic school. They prepare you for college. The staff are concerned about each student. I feel at home there. School spirit is strong! Once a bear, always a bear!
I really liked the staff there, they are very helpful and understanding. I did not like the new schedule put into place this 2018-2019 school year. There was some complications with it as well I did not like the back pack that jefferson county implemented this year. Most of the teachers had no idea how to work the back pack or knew anything about it, so it was hard as a senior to know you have to present this back pack but had no idea about it. I also feel like butler has good qualities but doesn’t implement the traditional way as much as it should.
Overall my experience at Butler Traditional has been like most. The food is tertible, some of the teachers despise being there; but, the make an honest attempt at teaching. JCPS is horrible they force teachers to be unique about their teaching methods which hinders the teaching methods they were taught to teach and the progression of their plans for the year. Other than these few things Butler Traditional H.S is an ok school in my opinion i'll give it a 6.75 out of 10.
