Bush Middle School has an amazing staff that works as a team to provide the best well-rounded education for every student. The community, students, and staff all contribute to creating a caring, professional, and premier middle school. Educational leadership at its finest.
Bush is a great school. Caring teachers and administrators. they talk about the bush family and they mean it ive always felt like my daughters grades were important but her so is her emotional well being. Bush finds a way to do both
PREMIER campus. They work hard to meet the needs of all students. The staff is courteous and puts kids first. I’ve always felt welcomed. My child enjoys going there.
I work at Bush and my kids have attended Bush. There is such a positive feeling being on campus...staff cares about the kids and the academics are top notch.
Bush is a great place to work. Staff is super friendly. Students and community really care about education.
The environment is very welcoming and allows students to succeed. The staff truly cares about the students and prepares them well for high school.
My oldest goes here and it has been the best experience for him. His teachers are caring and helpful and he has had no problem making and keeping friends. Great school.
I love how the students are assigned to a team of teachers for their five core subjects. It creates a more structured experience to learning and is helpful for my middle schooler.
I moved there in the middle of the school year and my first day I felt completely uninvited hardly anyone talked to me and I was bullied a lot that year. That was a year ago and I do suggest you DONT move there on the middle of the year. This year things are a lot better but I'm still bullied a little.
School nurse is pretty good.
It's okay, most people are very cliquey.
They don't care about students, just test grades.
My son attended this school and was bullied for two years straight. I feel the school turned a blind eye to the bullying and whenever I had meetings with the principal he seemed to lean towards blaming my son or just saying "we don't tolerate bullying" even when I clearly stated specific examples and instances. My older daughter, now 17 also attended this school. I found many of the teachers very unprofessional and said thing to her that were highly unprofessional. If a child is not active in sports this was reflected in the grades by the coaching teachers. I even helped my daughter write a paper that surely should have been a high grade but she received a moderate grade, again as expected the teacher was also a coach. The special ed counselors for grades 6 & 7 were great but the one for 8th grade was a total bust. He criticized my son to his face and was not at all helpful to my son. He never responded to emails from myself and was difficult to contact by phone. The one person who did stand out as excellent, Dr Charles Reininger, has since left and I honestly don't blame him. He should have been the principal, then this would have been an awesome school.
The school has many resources that are available to students including a great library, computer labs, and the guidance counselors and college prep teachers are great. Parents are very involved in the school.
They are really good. The teachers are supportive and know how to teach effectively.
Very fun activities available to all.
Really good opportunities to play sports, and participate in gym.
