Burnsville alternative give a chance when no one else would. After struggling with school i finally found somewhere i didn't feel so alone. The staff should me that some cared about me and my future. I was behind on credits when I came but the staff helped me catch up and even graduate early.
I think BAHS was the first high school I found a comfortable fit in. Struggling with anxiety and depression through 9th and 10th grade made things really hard for me at most other schools and I'm glad I was able to end up here. The only thing I can really complain about is probably school food and the classes being a bit too easy but those aren't too bad.
As an honor student, I have been able to take a lot of honor / AP courses, and I know that there are a lot of ways to extend your education. You can do PSEO, or independent studies, and keep pushing yourself in school. Great teachers are always able to help you.
Try to make all of the food healthy, even when it shouldn't be healthy (example fries), which takes away the taste from a lot of the food. Large variety of food every day, with 3 different meals to choose from with different food in each. Salads everyday, and special food always available to accompany needs.
Not only is there a lot of school spirit, and do they have a lot of strong sport programs, but the school holds ceremonies to recognize the sport programs. There are also a lot of different ways to join in, from high school sports to in-house to traveling teams. Also there is a massive variety of sports to choose from.
