We started in a local public school that we loved, until the county assigned a new principal. She made a lot if changes, which included limiting parent involvement. Then we found Burns Science & Technology School. This is the best k-8 school in Volusia County. Great teachers, staff, special area teachers... Etc. I can not say enough how much we love this little gem of a school.

The teachers are great people but some of her arnt great teachers. The principal is absolutely fake, she pretends to be happy all the time and lies about how good the students and teachers are. Money. The school is money hungry. Students have to take tech classes because every test we pass the school gets money. The School is dishonest and avoids unwanted paper work by lying. I hate burns and it’s the worst school I’ve ever been to.
