Burnet Middle School was a somewhat alright school. I had some good experiences with some of my teachers who tried their hardest to make sure their students are really trying, while with other teachers didn't really seem to try to push me and other students to their fullest potential and give them the education they really deserve, such as not explaining a certain topic properly or giving up on a student. Things like this caused me to be confused on some of my assignments and left me wondering if I really learned anything at all. Another topic I'd like to focus on was bullying. Telling a student to just "ignore" the bully honestly doesn't help and just caused the bully to torment them some more. The bully would probably be ridiculed for a couple of minutes and then they would just get right back to bullying the victim. I wish they would at least take action into preventing these types of things and stop enforcing the "zero tolerance" rule when a victim tries to defend themselves.

I have been in Burnet for 2.05 school years, each 10 months long. From what I can tell you, hallways are normally overcrowded, homeroom placements are somewhat usually far from their first class, and lunch is just a nightmare if you hate crowded areas. But those are the things that are bad. The school has a nice sports and fine arts program with lots of options to choose from.
The faculty offers help to every student. The technology aid students to succeed. The guidance counselors help students reach to their goals. All the resources they have at the school is basically available.
