I believe that this school accurately prepares students into the route they wish to go to, whether that is going to a college in the future or to learn automotive hands-on or to embrace their musical and theatrical talents throughout their 4 years of high school. The staff will try to assist you as best as they can and be sure to help every student with whichever need/accommodation they request. The teachers allow the students to be as authentic and creative as they can be and are respectful to every student. There's a vast cultural variety among students as well as teachers which help each students have connections and be friendly to one another. The JROTC program also gives the opportunity to those students who strive to gain discipline as well as help others by enhancing their practical skills and train as close as they can like an Air Force troop. This is a great school to attend.

The one thing I like about Burncoat Senior High School is that there are a variety of races that attend this school. Along with different religions, I find this interesting because even though all High schools in Worcester have children with different ethnicity's and religion's Burncoat seems to be one of the few schools that look more into the are of race when it comes to there students. One thing that I would change about my High school is the lack of materials we have, we need more tools to learn. Such as books, paper, pencils, new desks, projectors and much more that could contribute to our learning environment.
Burncoat is a place with a very good magnets programs, magnets being classes focused on certain art; such as the visual arts, dance, music, and theatre. Within these magnets there are many opportunities to display ones talents as well improve upon them. Classes like dance and select chorus, orchestra and theater regularly perform for the greater community. My magnet, the visual arts magnet gets to make posters for shows at the Hanover theatre here in worcester. Our proximity to boston also helps the art magnet come in contact with colleges like massart and RISD.
