At Burlington Township High School, I liked the relationships I built with my teachers. I would like to see more school events and activities that apply to the whole school population and not just a select few.
Overall quite a competitive school, many classes to offer to help students excel. Some of the teachers don't offer students extra help, but otherwise the teachers are good. The food is not so good; I've bought expired milk from the school cafeteria and for the price that lunch is sold at, it's not very worth it most times. The bathrooms are vandalized and don't typically look very clean. The clubs are under-funded, if at all, and so is the music / arts program. They don't get the attention they need, which makes a lot of extracurricular activities difficult to set up and attend.
The school is diverse and has a lot of course options. Many of the teachers are outstanding and have made incredible impacts on the students.
The teachers were very nice and will help as long as you ask questions. Sports teams are also on the competitive side which was great. Good amount of clubs for anyone to look into.
It's a very nice school with most notably an amazing performing arts program. It also has a large and beautiful theater with professional equipment that the students practice with.
School was great.Academics and sport wise the school was great. The school taught me the basic college skills I needed. This school was mostly in my opinion goal was to get me ready for college. The only downfall of the school is the very optional electives that were available to the students.
I absolutely love the teachers I've had and they always want you to strive to do your best. They generally teach very well and work individually with every student. The school also offers a wide variety of sports and activities for students to be involved with.
Great diverse environment. Welcoming teachers. Helpful guidance counselors. Convenient SAT Testing locations.
This school is very much so hyped up but it is not near what it is cracked up to be. A lot of the teachers are getting older and it is time for them to retire, times are changing and they are not up for learning new things. One teacher even mentioned he hadn't made a lesson plan in over 10 years. They are starting to hire newer teachers whom are doing very good for the most part. This school is very diverse, however, the inclusivity of all students in this school is not a priority of this school from what I have seen. I attended Burlington Township High School all four years and have never been able to say that I had an amazing year not because of students but because of staffing and just with how the school operates. Something needs to be done sooner or later.
Burlington Township High School has provided me the resources and classes needed to be ready for college. The teachers are always willing to help their students. The teachers are very personable so students easily form good relationships with them.
There is a large amount of diversity in the school, with classmates and teachers. Every teacher does their best to help students and ensure they are getting a proper education. The environment is positive and welcoming.
I have loved going to school at Burlington Township High School for the past 3 years. The student body is very diverse and it is easy to make friends with people from many different backgrounds. The teachers are personable and genuine and are always willing to offer help to their students. There are a plethora of clubs, sports, and other activities to take part in at the school. It is a very comfortable environment where you are encouraged to push your limits, but also not be discouraged by stumbles.
Burlington Township had very good athletic programs, a fair amount of clubs, and several AP classes offered. However, the school was very segregated, partially due to the class options. Rarely was a student involved in the school, and there was little school spirit. I wish administration communicated with the students instead of the parents. I made some good friends at BTHS, but I am not very sad to leave.
Throughout my four years at Burlington Township High School, I have found my experience to be very pleasant. I find that the diversity and wide range of sports and extracurriculars provide many opportunities to create strong friendships within many different groups and grades. On the other hand, Burlington Township High School strongly focuses on academics, providing students with up to 12 AP courses. All of the teachers are truly passionate at helping students thrive and connecting with them. In order to bolster Burlington Township High School's environment, more college workshops and career building opportunities should be incorporated.
It’s a nice school, nice people, great diversity. Everyone pretty much gets along well. Teachers are okay.
Very diverse, the teachers I had specifically were great, students were very active in school activities. Overall, great school for the two years I was there; went there for the last 2 years of high school.
As a current student, I enjoy going to this school because I feel as though I'm learning new things everyday. The material as well as the staff are kind, attentive, and make learning fun and as easy as it can be for depending on the class. There is a good variety of classes and anyone interested in STEM can find the classes they need to further pursue a career.
