I absolutely loved the experience I had through my years in high school. All the teachers and staff were so caring, and loved all students equally. Students were friendly, and had taken care of the school so well. I am forever grateful to be able to grow up in a small community with so many caring people. Being a student for Burlington High School was the best experience I have ever had. I am glad to say, I will be a Wildcat for the rest of my life!

The staff is incredible in their efforts to help myself and my fellow students. Mr. Reed, the principal, Mr. Watkins, athletic director, and Mr. Marshall, superintendent, are very generous in their service. All three of them work cross country and track meets, organize multitudinous activities as rewards for certain achievements, and unceasingly exhort us to strive for excellence.

One thing I would like added are more electives in the area of English, literature, and creative writing. Specifically, I would like a creative writing class, a novel-writing class, a mythology class, and the like. I realize that for a small district in a rural area can't accumulate these classes, but I have the interest in my young and budding writers in mind.
This school has a lot to work on. The lunches are not good and they need to be longer. Also, the bathrooms are always dirty and most of the stalls don’t lock. On the other hand, we have some incredible teachers like Mrs. Parker and Mr. Varvel who really like their jobs and care for their students. We also have a great guidance counselor who is a rockstar and helps with anything we can. Overall, this school is okay.
