This school is below average in many ways and does NOT deserve it’s good reviews. I am shocked it even as an A- in diversity, I would assume over half of its students are cisgendered caucasians. But what I dislike most about this school is it’s administration—they are incredibly rude and disrespectful. They have little patience and abuse their power. It’s astonishing they have been hired, you could replace a child with one of their teachers and you would see a difference, a BETTER difference. Many of the students also struggle with school because they are neglected by their teachers when they try to seek help. I am so disgusted by the way Burley treats it’s students and genuinely feel remorse for the teachers who are reasonable towards their students and teach incredibly. Please don’t send your child here, under all the good reviews from parents who have probably never seen what it’s like during the day, there are rude teachers and struggling students.
majority of the administration/teachers are rude. students don’t get the help they need when they’re struggling. treats students with disrespect. burley makes lazy, uninterested students. if you are looking to enroll your child here please don’t
I loved Burley. It is small enough that you can build meaningful relationships with your peers and teachers. Also, Burley helped to solidify my love of reading and writing.
