I couldn’t image being anywhere else, the amount of freedom coupled with the sense of community fosters an environment where well rounded student-athletes can grow in all respects.

This school was unsafe. I was consistently left alone in dangerous situations. One time I almost died skiing in Europe for the first time all alone. When I finally dug myself out of the snow, and found my way back at dark, freezing, no one asked me if I was okay. They got mad I made them wait. I don’t know who rates the academics, but they will pass anyone to keep their status. They have good relationships with colleges, but your child will be way behind the eight ball once they get there. Also, lots of underage sexual occurrences. Students are left unsupervised very regularly. Bullying is a very big issue at this school, and the running joke was that all the girls at Burke were either anorexic, on anti-depressants, or both. The coaches are abusive, especially Kirk Dwyer. He was the most hated of all time. I love my children more than life, and I would NEVER expose them to the experiences I had as a student at BMA. It was the worst, most abusive experience in my life.
