My experience at Burke High School was the one of the best part of my life, being in the Burke High Stepping Band. During my time in BHS Marching band I learned a lot of valuable lessons that helped me when I graduated. For example, learning how to work hard with little bit of opportunity presented. Also being constant with all matters of life and being your brothers keeper. Also the Burke High School has a foundation built on honor dating back to 1910 when the school first open and carried that honor on to today with a fight that is unmatched. Also with many achievements in academics, arts, and sport. However, one thing I say needs to change is the school district involvement with the students being that there was many talks and efforts to shut down the only high school in the city. Helping reansure the community that the school will be their as long as there is support for the students.

Burke High School is an American school following the American education system that needs to be revamped completely. Burke High School seems to not go above and beyond to create a lively academic atmosphere for all students, but to complete minimal task to adequately support students.
I love my school because it has a lot of history behind it. Also successful people we know in today society graduated from this school. This school offers great education and it teaches the students attending to never give up of something so great like education! Our mission here at Burke is to conquer, transcend and leave nothing to be desire. I LOVE MY BULLDOGS!
