Recently, Burbank High School has been offering more and more for their students to be involved in. I know that my high school has been putting in the efforts to better our campus and community. However, during my four years here at Burbank I have felt that there were no changes made to better the education of my class of 2019 and the classes before us. All of the improvement is finally being experimented with through this years freshmen and sophomores. Many times, I found that my class and the class of 2020 were the ones that had to speak up in order to spark changes here at Burbank not only for ourselves but also for the classes that are to come after us.

At Burbank High School, you have really great teachers, kind janitors, concerts and support to get involved in extra- curricular activities, community service, and such more!
Burbank has the potential to become the great school that it once was. After all, its called "The Pride of the Southside". When I attended, the students were very involved doing drugs and drinking so much to the point at which the administration checked the eligibility of the students for graduation only 63 met the criteria to graduate out of the 2oo+ students in my class. I enjoy school very much but I needed to be around people who enjoyed school but it was hard to find that. Not many people see the point in going to school because many of their parents cannot afford and there are also the cases in which have no involvement of their parents. as previously stated, Burbank and its current and future students have the potential to change their outlook on school and pursuing higher education, it just needs to start with administration and their involvement with their students.
